Where Will The Trampoline Olympic Gold Go In 2012

It might be early but not to early to guess who will win the trampolines sport gold in 2012 but I am just trying to build up the buzz of Olympics coming to London. This probably the second biggest thing happening in UK after 1966′s World cup. This will be a fantastic year of sports as European Championship will be help in Ukraine and Poland on the same year.

 

Trampoline joined Olympic sports in 2000 in which gymnasts perform them acrobatic skills. Twists, pike jumps, front and back somersaults are few acrobats. Twists and somersaults are certainly the hard jumps while trampolining. For many years Russian athletes rulled acrabats but now they have been taken over by China. In 2008 China finished first in the medal tally before USA. USA finish second behind China with 36 gold medals and China won 15 more than USA to finish with 51 gold medals. This is a massive improvement from China.

 

After this success almost all kids want to be a part of gymnastics whether it is to do with trampolines or anything else, hence parents are getting their kids either 8ft trampolines to 10ft trampolines. Even though the sport has only started few years ago (trampolines) it is great to see children enjoying it. The performance of the country in the Olympics is what driving these kids to learn these sports.

 

In UK kids are only focused on playing football and some play cricket occasionally. Even though the children start playing football from young age they still cannot perform for their national team as we have seen from the World cup. We all know there is something wrong somewhere but not sure what. Though we have to realise that China has massive population so they will eventually find talented people for different games. In the coming 2012 Olympics in London I believe China will take the overall lead in gold medals again.
